Looking West

I had already taken several images of very different subjects in other locations that I thought might work for today's image
and I almost turned to head home a couple of minutes before I saw this.
Stopping my turn at the last second I continued heading east for a ways. I'm glad I did.

I took several shots from this spot feeling like it was working pretty well.
Looking at my watch I saw that I had 45 minutes before I would be late for work.

I started walking towards the tree to get different feelings and perspectives
and continued taking photos as I went until I got to the tree and walked around it for awhile.
Before I left the tree I put my hand on its trunk and photographed that just for my memory of the visit.

Soundtrack for my walk and visit was the music by Ryuichi Sakamoto for the motion picture SILK.

It is truly beautiful music.

I often have my Zune and a little speaker in one of my pockets so I can listen to music as I am out taking photographs.
