Pictures of Trace studio very interesting. Trying to find out information about the equipment in contron room. The Pat Malone picture show two boards. The far one the 1960 console from Phillips. The other, more modern one with the wood color sides is the mystery. Could this be a small Flickinger console Sam Phillips told friends Dan Flickinger had built fot him?

Hello Kenneth, My Band "Southern Soul" played at the Rockwell Youth Center in Tupelo, April 24, 1970. I have several photos of our band after the gig tearing down our equipment. I was looking through your photos to see if you had a Photo of the Rockwell Youth Center exterior in your photo file?

I also see you were in Booneville, Mississippi as well. We played there at the Youth Center in the City Park. I am scratching my head to remember our contact, but the lady's name escapes me. It was a wonderful time in life to have played there and the Kids were the best and by the way we were in the 10th, 11th and 12th grade age timeframe ourselves, one of the band member's father would drive us all over North Mississippi to these gigs. Like Corinth, Booneville, Baldwyn, Winona, Grenada... we covered them all if there was a population of teenagers that liked live music. my email is allenscotty@hotmail.com Thanks for your time, Scotty Allen

Hi Kenneth,
We just got back from seeing the same cruise ports you did, the Southern Caribbean, but your pictures are about 10 times better than ours. Thanks for sharing.

Roger Maglio 24-Jul-2009 21:25
Ken, my name is Roger Maglio, owner of Gear Fab Records in Littleton, Colorado. We reissue obscure bands from the 1960's and are doing a Mississippicompilation which will include The Phinx, which I believe is your old band? We know the publishing for the song My Baby DOn't Care is active through BMI and we will license through them. But we would like to know about the band's line up for the recording, where you were from, and some photos for the liner notes. We can be reached at gearfabrecords@aol.com or visit our website: www.swiftsite.com/gearfab. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, Kenneth! This is Sandra Christian, Smith Vinson's sister. Long time, no see. A friend told me about this website with your photos on it. The ones of Smith (Vinson) and the Trace Recording Studio band, etc., sure brought back a lot of memories. I'm sure you know that we lost Smith to cancer in June, 1996. We still miss him terribly. It's great to see that you are still doing wonderful photography. Keep up the good work.

enjoyed your photos of fanning Island. I too visited there in Dec. of 07.
Got some wonderful photos of the islanders...that visit was a highlight of our cruie.
Your shots are great! It's a shame that the Norwegian cruise line no longer sails there.
I wonder how it will affect the islanders?

Kenneth,
I always enjoy looking at the old Boonville pictures. I left Booneville 31 years ago.
I really love all the old pictures of the 60's and 70's. Do you have any pictures of the
the high school band during 73, 74 and 75?
Willie Weeks 05-Dec-2006 23:29
Ken, Your new stuff is every bit as good as the old stuff. Its presentation is a class act. I look forward to 4.1.

Can anyone tell me how to reach Kenneth Christian? I need to find out ASAP whether my organization can purchase the rights to use one of his photos in a printed piece for our membership and how much one-time use would cost.

Thanks for ANY assistance you can offer (like a foolproof way to reach him)!
