Cloudy day, 1st time use of the lens, trying to give me an idea of how good it is.
I am not even close to being an expert. But it seems fine to me. I have sold this lens, but at times I regret it. The extra reach over the Canon 17-55 is at times missed.
your photos are sharp..i would say for the price compared with Canon, your lens is a knockout..mine was purchased for $1,250.00...ouch! and the quality of images of Tamron 28-75mm and Canon 24-70mm are almost the same.
There are also positives w/ my lens, Canon 24-70mm f2.8L has a fast AF ( i mean, really fast! ), great color tones/contrast, excellent bokeh and the quality how it made is superb..it was like a tank..solid lens ...but it was really poor/very soft wide open esp. all corners at f2.8-4..you'll get good ones at f5.6-f11..and for close up shots good at f8-f11.
..Overall, save your money folks! do not pressure yourself bec. it's Canon :-)
