For those new to this site, this is the first known breeding pair of bald eagles
in Rhode Island. The first baby was hatched in 2003. A pair was hatched, but of
them died. Since then, about 12 more have hatched and may be flying around.
I drive 116 every day at least twice....I have wondered what people were looking at, while pulled over on the side of the road. So, I googled and found this...great pics. If I see you, can I stop and take a peek? email me if that's ok....

Great site, pics and notes! I work in Cumberland and have been looking for places to take my 100-400 for lunch. I just drove over the Diamond Hill reservoir and saw a VERY large, brown bird soaring near the intersection of Wisteria and reservoir Roads. Larger (and darker) than a hawk, larger than the Osprey that frequent my area. Unfortunately NO PLACE TO PULL OVER!!! Maybe a Turkey vulture, but didnt see the black silouette on the underside. I'll keep trying! Thanks again!
