I just saw one riding air currents today over Factory Street in West Warwick. Time was 12:34pm when I saw it. A lady saw it too, so my wonderings were comfirmed.

My wife and I just saw one of them fly over our house on Black Walnut Dr. in Coventry. It's the second time she's seen one fly by our home in the last 6 months. Beautiful.

Spotted a bald eagle in Riverside on 12/1. Flying low and slow enough for us all to gasp in amazement!

I was driving down 117 just passing over route 102 in coventry today and looked up to see a bald eagle.i'm 100 percent sure what i saw,so there has to be a nesting pair somewhere around the area here.such a gorgeous bird.

Hey Ken, thanks for these gorgeous pics. I and about 5 others saw a bald eagle flying down the middle of the Blackstone River in Cumberland today (November 10, 2009) He was flying from Albion toward Manville. (south to north)

Thank's Ken for all your effort...making the lives of these bird's come alive for us. I've been viewing them in Scituate for several years with amazement. On 3/30/09 I walked out my back door to find an adult perched on a tree limb in the yard. I've heard of previous sightings in Coventry and can only hope a pair would nest in our area. Has anyone noticed a pair nesting in Coventry?

There are babies, but I haven't seen them yet. They will fledge around the beginning of June. Give or take a week or two?

great shots! we were there this morning and saw one of the adults on the nest. have you seen babies yet or do we know they've hatched? how long till they fledge?

I should have mentioned that the 100-400mm doesn't work with the tele unless you tape the pins. Overall, I don't think it is worth the money.

98% of the times, only the 400. For possible action shots, I feel that the tele doesn't focus fast enough. Also I feel the straight 400mm is a little\lot sharper.

Hi Ken I was just wondering. Do you use just the 400mm lens alone or do you also use a tele converter with it.
