No he's not a pet and I spotted him a long ways off. At first he was a white dot that didn't fit into the landscape.
I attached a telescope (not Really but I had a good long range lense!) to get this shot.
Forty years I have traveled the back country and he is the only one I have ever seen.
I want to thank him for his pose but as far away as I was I am sure he did not consider me
much of a problem.
I named him "Patches" because of the spots on him.
