Lyrebird Nest

I thought I'd include this for interest's sake. I returned a couple of weeks after the previous pics were taken to see the finished nest... The nest meets all the criteria as described in my various 'bird books' including the following: '...nest is a bulky, untidy mound of sticks...its cave-like opening is in the exposed side. Despite its size, its resemblance to a mound of litter makes it inconspicuous...'. Mother Nature you've done it again!
