About a month ago I was wandering through the national park near Nowra. The banksias (Australian native plants) were out in flower. I managed to while away considerable time playing with the patterns in the beautiful flower stem. I think this is Banksia ericafolia, or 'Heath Banksia'. Plant experts plese correct me if I'm mistaken.
