It's spring and a great time to be bushwalking. I found myself under Knapsack Bridge near Glenbrook and thought I should add a little bit of it's history. The bridge was originally built in the 1860s as a railway bridge, it later became part of the Great Western Highway then with the extension of the M4 Motorway in 1993 Knapsack Bridge was bypassed. This beautiful old bridge is now part of a walking track.
