After a long drive in the rain between Inverary and Tongue, Scotland, our first day with the four-door sedan rental ended with us stuck in a muddy ditch. We were trying to avoid a collision with a passing vehicle on the narrow road through town, but ended up wedged against a grassy wall. This required a tow, fortunately offered by a neighborly tractor driver and his son. Needless to say, the day ended here in Tongue, and Jim did his best to recoup.
