The Rosetta Stone!

I've wanted to see this ever since I first learned about it. It's in the British Museum, in a glass case which makes it hard to get a good photo since I have no polarizer on my digital camera. It's larger than I thought it would be and very cool. Hieroglyphics on the top, then demotic script, then Greek on the bottom.

I feel exactly the same about this stone. Someday I'll go back to Britain and see this, didn't make it when I was there. Nice shot, too!

I think this is effective just the way it is. Actually, the reflection makes it more immediate and personal. It is easy to find photos of the stone itself, but your photo makes another statement altogether. I love it!
