AS I was getting ready to take the picture of this Egret he took off. I had spent alot of time creeping up on him to get a really close shot. Wildlife is not known to cooperate.

No, but that´s what makes it such a challenge to succeed in getting that one photo that´s really great. I promise, you will feel very pleased when you get that photo you´ve been trying hard to get. :-)
And even if this particular bird wasn´t cooperative you will get your chance later on and this was a great attempt. Well done, Katie.

Isn't that the truth! We as photographers spend much time trying to set up the great photo, just to have the #@@#$% critters run off about the time we go to snap the picture.
Still, you have a good photo here.
