Not only is this a beautiful image, Kathy -- you have found a moment in time and space that expresses the nature of their work. You layer this image with meaning -- the foreground figure anchors the scene and invites us, the rope leads us back into and across the frame to a boat in the middleground, rolling on the crest of a wave as another figure struggles to secure it, while a storm seems to be chasing both in the background. You also have used the brown, greenish blue, and gray colors to form a vertical rainbow effect, from bottom to top. Pictures of people at work can make excellent travel photographs. This is one of them. (Thanks, by the way, for commenting on a "workplace picture" that I've included in my new instructional gallery on this subject athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/workplace )
