Swallows & Amazons 2014

This Old Gaffers weekend has been going for 15 years, a family event in the Walton Backwaters where Arthur Ransome's sailing books were written. Children have grown up with it, others from around East Anglia look forward to it. A race from the fine new Walton & Frinton Yacht Club up the Walton Channel and the Twizzle was followed by kite making with a boat theme and a sail/walk the next day at Horsey Island where the stories took place.
