This September festival has to be experienced to be believed -- an exuberant celebration of Loire river boats in Orleans, France with over 20o boats, boatmen, maritime skills, rowing, sailing, loads of music and other festive entertainments and the most incredible illuminations one evening, fireworks the next. The boats of the Thames in Britain were the 'guests of honour. and were given a truly royal welcome. Next festival September 2021.
