A most successful new event: a regatta plus symposium on the history and design of the mainly Scottish classics that participated. Over twenty boats raced in the morning -- a GL Watson design from 1894, a Fife from 1887, McGruer and Mylne designs plus others, even including a Herreshoff replica.
