I did this painting from a photo I took at Shanksville PA shortly after Flight 93 went down. We used to live about twenty minutes from the site. We went up shortly afterwards and I took photos of tributes people left as soon as they were allowed at the site. There has been an official memorial put there since. The note was written on plain paper wrapped in plastic.
