I visited Minsk in Belarus last year in December, and this little christmas tree in my hotel was about as christmassy as it got. The whole city seems shrouded in a perpetual twilight, mainly because of a lack of electricity. Except of course for Lukashenko's presidential palaces, which were floodlit. Go figure.
