Louisiana Landscapes

One of my favorite ways to spend a early morning when I am not working. Is to go to Lake Martin to Bird and shoot pictures. It is an awesome place and We are lucky to have it less than 20 minutes from our home. With fall migration only a few weeks off i hope to update this gallery with shots I get on these outings.

Karen, I remember seeing that owl (same one, I'll betcha) when I was there in 2007. I was told that the egrets mated at that time of year (May, I believe) and there were all different colored ones. However, you have a "little blue heron" so is that what gathers there instead of egrets? I have no idea.
