Here's an unrestored ARVIN 444A from 1946. It was made by Noblitt-Sparks Industries Inc. Painted steel case, string filaments not to mention dirty & ugly. This is one of those famed radios that spawned the very real fear that you could get electrocuted from. Entirely true because of the way it was wired by the manufacturer.
