Hi Mark, Still no cookies! I really loved your bird photos and enjoyed looking through this gallery. I hope to get a lot more bird photos come spring. The poor little birds are wishing it was spring right about now. Anyhow, Good Work! Shirley (MercurySoft1 in dpr)

No,Alida, I do not use a Spotting scope. Most of the shots have full EXIF info, and as the focal lengths indicate, most were shot with either my 50-200, with or without 1.4 TC, or my 50mm macro. Many of the best raptor shots are captive birds taken at shows, though I am working on my stalking skills, and hoping to get a 300mm lens. You have some great shots of gulls in flight in your galleries. Thanks and good luck with your birding! Mark

Hi Mark..Thanks for your comments on my Gallery...I love photographing birds...I'm trying to get a collection of as many as I can...I think I have about 50 different species now. Yes, we do have Scarlet Tanagers. There are at least 3 pair that I see and hear regularly in our Northeastern Pennsylvania woodlot. If you didn't see one in my collection, I'll put one in right away...it wasn't my best effort, as I am still trying to get a good shot! You have a great shot of an Indigo Bunting in yours. What a pretty bird! Muskrat
