I remember being at the FIrst graduating Class of Heritage USA where my friend, Sunshine was the valedictorian! It was held at this amphitheatre. Glad to have found a pic! thanks for the site! I cannot believe this was the third largest amusement park in the USA- that says alot about the US and separating folks from their dollars, now, doesn't it?

I lived here in the 80's as a teen ager.I was an actor in this theater for a few years.I had some of the best times of my life living here.It was truely a great place,I have to hand to the Bakers they smooth.

That's a shame that everything went to shambles. Think of the lives that Baker's ministry touched. True, though Baker had his priorities and personal ambitions in the wrong place, which gave Christianity a bad name, his ministry really did impact a lot of people and like I said earlier, it's just a shame that his ministry's facilities have and still are falling apart.

As a kid in the late 70's, this ampitheater looked a little different. It didn't have a western town set - in the beginning it had an outdoor/back porch that Jim Bakker and Henry Harrison would tape some shows - with the campers as the audience. This place was very special (if it is the same ampitheater just a stones throw from the camp grounds). It used to have a huge Heritage USA logo on the center of the stage floor. Wow - it has changed a bit.

Looks delightful, but I am looking for plans to build a small ampi-theatre for a small town.

Boring! I'm going to Cedar Point, thank you.
