With a list of 'to do' items on the Colby Village project - which was to be completed by June 30th, they put in about two hours worth of work and called it a day. They did all of these 2 hours in one day! Whew! They did the work on June 28th, with just 2 days remaining of the deadline. Hmmph.

With the news of an oil tank leak under the Pulaski School circulating, what could possibly next? What will be the next health issue the city folk will stall and outright ignore?

The excuses are always the same. Nothing gets accomplished as the city hopes to stall and ignore people as long as possible in the hopes the complaining people will either give up, move away or just die. That's the way New Bedford, Massachusetts government truly works. They say it's been like that since the beginning of time.

Well, the beautiful weekend is over. Colby Village is still a mess and the mosquitos are wreaking havoc in the hood. We await the first case of West Nile Virus to surface.
