This gallery is a series of candid pictures from our traditional fishing trip to Mesick, Michigan and the surrounding area. We stay on our property up there in an ancient camper, and we fish the area lakes and rivers. This time around, we focused on fishing for spawning salmon around the dams and weirs. As a sharp commentor has already noted, there are not many pictures of fish. This is true.

Most of these pictures were taken with a compact Canon S500 ... the only camera I could bring and still be able to carry my fishing gear. :)
