Our original plan was to just stay at Neel's Gap for the night, wake up early, buy some supplies, and start on our trail that morning... But we decided to be somewhat spontaneous and just hike to the top of Blood Mountain that night, and sleep up there. This is a view of the mountain as we were approaching. If you look REALLY closely, you can see about 20 little boy scouts running around like idiots on top of the mountain.
