Malamutes

These are some pics of alaskan malamutes at work and play. Mals aren't for everyone as they needs loads of exercise, can shed incredible amounts of hair, have a high prey instinct and don't always play well with other dogs, but they are the only breed for me. They're intelligent, independent and have a love of life that's infectious. Hope you like the photos!

Lovely gallery of some great looking dogs. I also like the sledding pictures a lot. I just wish we had that much snow where I live. Hope you have a lot of fun this winter.

Love the Mal pics. I've got a five-year-old rescueb boy sitting at my feet as I type. I just got to get these kinds of pictures of him.

Lots more pics. Just a question of sorting through them and scanning when necessary. We've pretty much had at least one Mal for the last 30 years. We were up to 8, but down to 7 now after losing Tipsy last October. They're a great breed, but definitely not for everyone!

I fell in love with Alaskan Malamutes about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, my current living arrangements do not permit me to have pets of any kind. But when I finally get that house out in the country, I plan on getting some Mals to make up for lost time. Great dogs and great photos, too. (Got more?)
