This is my lower back or front Kydex sheath. The clip is very thick .125 Kydex that is held in by 2 screws. The clip can be placed on either side of the sheath for versatility of front/back or left/right handed carry. The Cermic rod does not have to be removed from the sheath to be used, although it would be easier to remove the sheath from your person. The Cermic rod is a 4" rod that can be removed easily for cleaning or replacement. The rod simply slides out of one end of the sheath.
