Shōtō: (Literally: short sword) General term for a sword shorter than two shaku. Most are wakizashi, but some are short daito, known as kodachi.
This is the only Shoto blank made with a full tang we are aware of made for the DIY maker
We make all of our Premium "S" knives out of heat treated and hardened 9CR14mov steel.
These are heat treated to an average RC 57.
They hold an edge!
