Excellent capture of the star thistle flower. Just like the ones we see in the US. Wonder if these weeds always covered the face of the earth or if they actually started in some restricted locale and spread on the wind? V

A very nice composition overall, with the thistle colours highlighted with the surrounding background yellow flowers in a natural arc around it.
