... if you view this timed exposure at original size you can
see the gulls that were flying around over the shipyard...or..the stars...
which makes more sense since flying gulls would have created motion trails..

Marinette Marine has built three of the four Staten Island Ferries
that it has contracted for; in addition, the shipyard builds for
the US Coast Guard.... the Coast Guard ship in this photo was launched
by rolling it off to one side into the Menominee River earlier this spring.

This reminds me of Easter when we were kids...about the only time of the year when we had chocolate wrapped in golden foil. The birds must be wondering when it's time to go to roost :>)

I love the sparkly lights and the reflections. I've seen people add the star effects with PS but you got it in the original photo. Very nice.
