Great Blue Heron rookery in Venice, Florida

...it's hot and muggy here today (unusual for December)
so I'm staying in and playing with my photos; I like the
old photos from the days before the plume hunters decimated
the wading bird population of Florida, so I did a mask to preserve
the sky of this photo (a previous photo of the mating great blue herons wasn't given this
treatment and the sky looks way too bright)
and then curved the birds so that they're
visible and then toned it in sepia...

enhanced, but untoned, photo here..

You are really good at getting these! (they must be used to that woman pointing that thing at them by now). I really like them both, but I almost like the second one a little bit better just for the tinge of pink. Having said that, it's really a hair's bit of difference -- they're both great.
