poppies

in a Michigan garden

... I was waiting along a road for
some turkeys to appear and this garden
of poppies caught my eye...I have no
idea what I did to get this strange looking
image...and this may be a place holder as
I'm on dialup for the next few days and then
flying to Florida with my diabetic mother and
then right back to Wisconsin..

other sizes: small medium original auto

And so great selective colour! You did selected some blurred poppies in the background in the same way with the ones in the foreground?

This is stunning. Perfect foreground focusing and blurred background.

Interesting photo. I like the tones but am not sure I like the other selective toning. My first thought was that I didn't like it but then I sat back and just looked at it for a while and I was intrigued by the fact that you toned some of the bokeh flowers (that was a silly way to put it but I figured you would know what I was talking about). This gives it some depth beyond being just another spot colored photograph I think. I'll be curious to check back and see what other people have to say.

Looks like we're both in a weedy mood today. Nice coloring here. How do you do this kind of processing?
