This is one of the last photos I made of the eaglet chick
before it disappeared about April 18th. The parents came
back to the nest together on the 22nd, and that's the last
time they've been seen. We searched under the Australian pine
where the nest was, and for as far as we could get in either direction,
but there was no sound or sign of a chick on the ground.
