.. Mrs. Margaret Sommerville was my first and second grade teacher
at Munger School in Sawyer County, Wisconsin... Munger School was a
one room school and, like most rural schools, was incorporated into the
local school system.. we kids who went there learned to love learning
because we were exposed to all the benefits of cross discipline subjects....
most of all we learned to be active community members, to cooperate, and to
"play well with others"... stuff online communities are now trying to achieve...
... the lady in the purple dress is my mud puddle friend, Donna... we made lots of
mud pies and played in the hay loft... and later we were the tractor drivers, haying crew,
milkers, calf pen cleaners, chicken pluckers, canning crew, cooks.. jills of all farm trades..
