So, here's a mini rundown on the gadget:
I can type in the virtual keyboard pretty well, keys are nice and big (bought a Bluetooth keyboard just in case)'
I like the auto help when typing.
Nice big screen and really nice to enlarge small type, etc.
Quick startup, long battery life, bright screen, blah, blah, blah.
Can upload stuff to MobileMe and copy from my gadget (iPad), but otherwise I need to sync thru iTunes to get stuff on the damn thing. This makes my gadget part of an enclosed system, something I really thought long and hard about.
I can upload to Flickr via email, so I may buy the camera connector thing for it.
No uploading to Pbase... No way, nohow... Unless there's email uploading and it just don't know about it.

I have to head across the street to check out my neighbor, he went up to the Apple Store in Portland (Maine) to pick his up this morning. They actually had friends come up with them and made a day of it.
