National Day in Tiananmen Square

Arrival near Front Gate at the south end of the square. We had quite a hike from here.	We had to walk all the way around the side of the square, and then here we turned back to toward it.	The side of the Great Hall of the People.	Guards holding back the crowd.

What was it that Lenin said?	They hang a big portrait of Sun Yat-sen (Sun Zhongshan) every National Day across the square from the portrait of Mao.	The whole setup in front of the Monument to the People's Heroes.	Kite flying down by Front Gate on the south end of the Square.
