Booths and Activities
Some pics taken while wandering around the various booths.
The stage and main area of the festival, in front of the Hundred Years Theatre.
The North Korean booth! Note pictures of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
The Malaysia booth, very colorful.
The US booth was trying to show off "Ping Pong Diplomacy," but mostly random people used it all day long.
People gathering for the performances.
A pair of North Koreans taking their turn playing a Japanese game.
Masa hard at work.
CIEE students hanging out in the American booth.
And giving a little demonstration...
Long Live Sino-Nigeria Relations! One side of the African Corner.
It was the biggest booth, but it was also representing an entire continent... or is it a country?
Ethiopia at the other side of the Africa booth.
The Sri Lankan booth. Some countries put a lot of work into their booths...
...and others... not so much.
Tavey (from UT!) rocking out.
Another shot of Tavey.
Someone showing off the banjo.
More Ping Pong Diplomacy.
