After spending a day exploring Cape Town and the surrounding countryside, we headed inland to our first safari lodge - Djuma. Djuma is a private lodge that borders the famous Kruger National Park. In some ways, Djuma was the most exciting because everything was a first - first lion, first elephant, etc. However, in other ways it was just an appetizer as the highest quality encounters were yet to come.
