New Zealand's South Island is home to Aoraki - Mt. Cook National Park - a name it shares with the park's tallest mountain. Much of the park is a long valley with the lodge providing spectacular views of the mountain. However, it was a helicopter ride over the mountains to land on one of the mountain glaciers that really stole the show.
