Like so many spots in Mexico, El Salto Falls is a bit of a surprise when you first stumble onto it. Driving through towns and forests wich look like most other towns and forests in the area, we knew there was supposed to be a waterfall nearby, but when we found it the breathtaking views were still so unexpected. It was a pleasant surprise loaded with birds and butterflies where scenic views abound.
