Anna's Eighty-Eight Dorsal

This was the first species of eighty-eight we ever found in Mexico. This one was hanging out on the rocky surface of the road up to El Cielo Biosphere Reserve.

So sparkly! Looks like the showy ones you see at zoo and museum butterfly exhibits. Much nicer to find it in the wild! Fabulous shot. S&L
