Not sure why this bird had a hang-neck posture in flight. But it was unique enough out of a group of birds for it to stand out. I noticed after I had finished shooting my series that my photography buddy Adrian Fortier had also zeroed in on this same bird in flight and fired off a series of his own. I believe that great photo-ops deserve to be appreciated, and after the bird had gone we looked at each other and shared a nice big smile. Photography with a friend can be a really great time--one that I highly recommend.
