Greta morgane oto
This was the first clearwing butterfly Melanie and I ever saw. We were eating lunch at a small restaurant called Bocatoma 3 when it flew past a field of flowers, stopping long enough to grab a few sips of nectar... just long enough for Melanie to run over, hop across a canal full of water, and snap off a few quick images while the rest of us were riveted to the scene. Some clearwings can almost disappear in flight under the right conditions, owing to their largely transparent wings.
