We have a daily visitor to our bird feeder too. It loves to tease our dogs. So sharing the feeder with the birds is due reward. :)

Excellent capture Jim! All of the critters are just trying to survive this winter...

This little guy is obviously hungry. I know they are animals living in their world, but they seem to have a rough life sometimes. I just lost another horse at 5:30 AM this morning...Sad day....
Hank Vander Velde18-Feb-2014 16:34

Char18-Feb-2014 15:29
He looks like he has beads of ice on his fur. The weather has been so brutal to critters. This is an excellent detailed capture, Jim. \/
Isabel Cutler18-Feb-2014 15:25
You're helping! Mine are fat and sassy because they pig out on my homemade lard/peanut butter/flour/sugar/oatmeal and cornmeal blocks. They'd be raiding the seed feeder were it not for that solid, fattening stuff!
joseantonio18-Feb-2014 15:22
Life must not be easy for these little creatures in that cold weather.V.
Tom LeRoy18-Feb-2014 15:20
This is a colorful little critter, excellent shot; and let's hope for warmer weather soon! V
globalgadabout18-Feb-2014 14:46
the oils in the sunflower seeds should help it in the extreme cold...what lovely colours it has...fine shot Jim..
