What a great shot you got, so crisp and clear on the fence. Look at those talons, could grasp pretty tightly.

Exellent capture. They live among us, and aren't we lucky that they do? Can't imagine my world without seeing these beautiful creatures.

This is the first real closeup of a hawk I have seen and it's a beauty.. Perfect pose on the hawk. It would have been worth giving it a bird for a sitting fee.

A very nice shot of this handsome male Cooper's Hawk. Nice to see, but hopefully not a repeat visitor!

The photo is very beautiful, the colours match so well each other, I’m a little puzzled by the texture of the bird's feathers on the chest, they look ...nearly painterly, as if they had been painted, of course I know it's a photo, but this is the impression I get, very good capture.

Awesome capture of this hawk. I've had one buzz my feeder a couple of times - luckily caught nothing so far! I didn't get a shot of it either :-(

TERRIFIC find and shot Jim. Sharp, good bg and beautifully framed. The only thing wrong with this picture is that it is your fence it is on and not mine. LOL
