While traveling to and in Hot Springs for the weekend of 4th of July, I had the pleasure to stumble upon not just one but four of these birds or groups of birds. The first one (no picts)did a fly by as we drove on I-40 just east of the 440 exit. The second one (pictures) was a single adult bird feeding from a utility wire in the Mid America Office Park not far from the museum. The next group (pictures) was a parent bird who was feeding three fledged young in the back empty parking lot of the mall. A good sized field was nearby as the parent hunted and brought back the goodies to either a signpost or to each bird on the parking lot. The last group (no picts) were a parent and I presume two juviniles with long tails chasing it on the perimeter of the local Walmart. Some open grass area and Hi voltage lines as perches.
