I used to feel proud when I got a good shot of a hovering dragonfly. I was able to do that by choosing the best of several frames per second.
And the dragonfly was at least 2.5" long. This shot I set up handheld with a flash attached taking one shot at a time.
As it was, I only got the one shot this time. The fly is about 5/8" long. I love this lens!
