Moscow, the capital of Russia, is a city with rich historic heritage. At the cener of its tourist attractions stands the Red Square and the adjacent Kremlin. I was surprised that one could visit it so easily, and one can even get close to Putin's office building. The city is on the whole built to a grandiose style, with Stalinist buildings adorning all major thoroughfares. The Moscow metro, with its 11 lines, is perhaps the fastest and most convenient mass transit system I've seen. Trains come at less than one minute interval and they are very fast indeed.
