Massai Mara Natural Reserve lies in the southeast corner of Kenya, a vast expanse of savannah spreading over 1,672 square kilometers. It is home to legions of wild animals, such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras and rhinos. A three day safari trip I took recently was trully an eye-opening experience. This is nature at its most pristine state, in which the cycle of life and the law of the jungle sit side by side in total harmony. It has always been like this, and may well remain so into the distant future, unless we humans put an abrupt end to it out of sheer folie which we masquerade as progress and civilization.
