First experiments producing high dynamic range (HDR) images where multiple digital photographic images at a range of exposures are combined to produce an image where the underexposed areas are brightened and overexposed areas are darkened. The effect varies from "natural like the human eye sees" to surreal artistic depending on the degree of enhancement.
